Terms of trade
The terms that apply when you buy products from Construction Supplies Australia. Please read them before placing an order.

Quotes and orders
Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote, or 14 days where no period is stated, and are subject to product availability, supplier confirmation and steel price movements. An order is accepted when we confirm it in writing with the agreed price, availability and expected dispatch or delivery window. Custom-cut orders proceed to production or procurement only after you approve the cutting list or specification. We may decline or revise an order if supply cannot be confirmed on the stated terms.

Supply and fulfilment
CSA arranges supply of construction materials through an accredited network of manufacturers, distributors and carriers. Your contract for the goods is with Construction Supplies Australia. Fulfilment may occur from a supply point selected for product type, length, quantity and delivery location. Product images, specifications and catalogue information are indicative; the confirmed order documentation governs what is supplied.

Pricing and GST
Prices are in Australian dollars and, unless stated otherwise, exclude GST and delivery. Steel is a commodity and prices can change; we will confirm the current price at the time of order.

Payment
Retail orders are payable in full before dispatch unless otherwise agreed. Approved trade accounts are payable within 30 days of invoice. We reserve the right to suspend supply on overdue accounts.

Title and risk
Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery or collection. Title remains with us until payment is received in full. This is a retention-of-title arrangement for the purposes of the Personal Property Securities Act 2009.

Delivery
Delivery and dispatch dates are estimates given in good faith and are not guaranteed. They depend on supplier availability, production or cutting schedules, carrier capacity and events beyond our reasonable control. We are not liable for consequential loss arising from delay where we have used reasonable endeavours to supply on the confirmed terms. Inspect goods on delivery and note any damage or shortage on the docket before signing.

Returns
Unused standard catalogue items in original condition may be returned within 14 days subject to our returns policy, supplier acceptance where applicable, and a possible restocking fee. Custom-cut and project-specific items cannot be returned unless faulty or supplied incorrectly. See our returns and warranty page for full details.

Warranties and liability
Products carry the relevant manufacturer warranty. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the replacement or repair of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods. Nothing in these terms excludes rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
