Buying from CSA

How ordering works

CSA is a trade supply specialist. Every product in the catalogue follows one of two paths: priced catalogue lines you can check out online, or POA lines quoted by the trade desk. Either way, availability and a dispatch ETA are confirmed at order acceptance — before supply is released.

01

1. Catalogue checkout — priced lines

Standard materials, lengths, fasteners and accessories that show a price in the catalogue can be added to cart and ordered online. Trade account holders can sign in to see account pricing, add a purchase order reference at checkout and have the order recorded against their account history.

An online order is a request to supply until we accept it. At order acceptance we confirm product availability, final pricing, freight and the expected dispatch window. Nothing is charged as final or released to dispatch until that confirmation — so you are never guessing whether the material exists.

2. POA quote flow — custom and project supply

Products marked "POA — Request a quote" cover custom-cut lengths, specialty colours, mixed-category schedules, large volumes and full project supply. Submit the quote request with your cutting list, takeoff, drawings or product schedule attached — the more detail, the firmer the quote.

Quote requests submitted during trade desk hours get a response within 2 business hours. Complex project schedules may need a follow-up call before the final quote, and your quote sets out price, confirmed lead time, freight and any compliance documentation included. Accepting the quote converts it directly into an order — no re-keying of products, lengths or colours.

3. Cut-to-length where available

For the current steel range, corrugated, Trimdek and Spandek can be cut to exact lengths to a tolerance of plus or minus 5 mm on orders of 10 sheets or more, subject to supplier capability. Cut-to-length lead times are confirmed on your quote or order acceptance.

Use the roof takeoff and flashing calculators on our trade tools page to build your cutting list before you submit — calculator outputs can be attached straight to a quote request.

4. Trade accounts

A trade account joins the two ordering paths together: catalogue checkout at account pricing, POA quotes tracked per project, and everything invoiced against the same account.

  • Volume pricing tiered to your monthly spend
  • 30-day payment terms on approved accounts
  • Priority processing for confirmed trade orders
  • PO references carried through to delivery dockets and invoices
  • Saved lists for re-ordering recurring material schedules
  • A dedicated account manager

5. Delivery or collection

Choose delivery to site or collection from a nominated supply point where available. Freight is calculated on actual dimensions and weight, long-sheet loads travel on carriers equipped for them, and we arrange supply to all regional and rural postcodes. See the delivery and pickup page for details.
