Overview
Red Dektite - No. 1 seals round pipes and flues where they pass through profiled metal roofing. The flexible reinforced base forms to corrugated and ribbed roof sheets, while the cone is trimmed at the marked diameter to make close contact around the penetration.
The No. 1 mark is a product size code, not a pipe measurement. This option covers pipe outside diameter from 5 to 60 mm (1/4 to 2 1/2 in). Measure the outside of the installed pipe, including any insulation or outer casing that passes through the flashing, before choosing a size.
High-temperature silicone is rated for -50°C to 200°C continuous. This option is listed for roof pitches from 0° to 40°. Use the manufacturer installation method, approved sealant and suitable roof fasteners. Installation by a qualified roof plumber is recommended because poor trimming or fixing can cause water entry.

What does the Dektite number mean?
The No. 1 is the manufacturer size code. It is not 1 mm or 1 inches. Use the pipe range shown beside each option in the size table.
Should I choose standard EPDM or red silicone?
Standard EPDM suits most cold and moderate-temperature roof penetrations and is rated from -50°C to 115°C continuously. Red silicone is intended for hotter flues and is rated from -50°C to 200°C continuously. Confirm the temperature at the roofline, not only the appliance outlet temperature.
How is a Dektite fitted to a metal roof?
Mark and cut the cone below the measured pipe diameter, slide it over the penetration, form the base to the roof profile, then seal and fasten it using the manufacturer spacing. A qualified roof plumber should complete the work where weatherproofing or fire separation is regulated.
