Benefits of Locking Mini Gap Clips Neat finish - keep your deck looking clean & uniform Corrosion resistant - your deck will stay pristine, even in harsh weather Easily install - simply place and install with provided screws Secure decking boards - locking mechanism reduces board movement The Locking Mini Gap Clip system is perfect for commercial installations where public safety may be a consideration, as well as residential decks in dense greenery areas. A smaller gap is great for leafy areas as it prevents leaves and seeds getting caught in the decking board gap. Features of NewTechWood Deck Clips Timber & metal fix options available 304 grade stainless steel Creates a 1.5mm gap between boards What is the difference between regular NewTechWood mini gap clips and mini gap locking clips? Whilst the regular clips lock between the boards securely, they still allow the decking to breathe (expand & contract) so that it doesn’t warp, distort, or buckle from these movements. The locking clips feature ‘teeth’ that grab onto the boards and control the direction in which the board expansion takes place.
