Overview
Lysaght Klip-Lok 700 Hi-Strength is a wide-cover concealed-fix cladding profile for commercial and industrial roofing and walling. Clip fastening eliminates exposed fasteners through the weather face, giving a clean standing-seam appearance and reducing screw-hole leak risk on long-span roofs. Common applications include warehouses, retail centres, transport terminals, schools and sports facilities.
Per Lysaght specifications: 700 mm nominal cover width, 43 mm rib height, 0.42 to 0.60 BMT available. Minimum roof pitch is 1° (1 in 50) for 0.48 BMT and 2° for 0.42 BMT, subject to Lysaght design provisions including turned-up sheet ends below 15° pitch. CSA coordinates Klip-Lok 700 project supply with confirmed lead times, span tables and NCC Section J documentation on request.

Fixing & Fasteners
- Concealed clips screw-fixed to purlins/battens; sheet pans have no exposed roof fasteners.
- Clip and fastener selection follows Lysaght design for wind classification and support type.
Matching Accessories
- Fixing clips (standard and floating / expansion)
- Ridge, barge and apron flashings to suit standing seam
- Pierced or expansion clips for long runs
- Safety mesh and insulation blanket systems
Installation & Handling
- Sheets clip onto pre-fixed clips and are walked down to engage — no roof penetrations, reducing leak risk on long, low-pitch roofs.
- For pitches below 15°, turn up the top end of sheets and seal under ridge flashings.
- Concealed-fix systems accommodate thermal expansion better than pierce-fixed roofing, suiting long commercial spans.
Warranty

FAQ
Lysaght Klip-Lok 700 — Frequently Asked Questions
What is the minimum pitch for Klip-Lok 700?
Klip-Lok 700 Hi-Strength can go down to 1° (1 in 50) in 0.48 BMT, or 2° in 0.42 BMT, subject to Lysaght design provisions for low-pitch roofs.
Why choose concealed-fix over screw-fixed roofing?
Concealed clips remove fasteners from the weather face, giving a clean standing-seam look, fewer leak points, and better accommodation of thermal movement on long commercial spans.
What BMT options are available?
0.42, 0.48 and 0.60 mm. 0.60 mm is used for long spans and extreme-wind / cyclonic zones. CSA quotes the right gauge for your span and wind classification.
