Overview
Fielders ARAMAX® is a structural roof and wall cladding profile, bigger, bolder and deeper than conventional sheet. As a structural component it provides generous unsupported spans of up to 20 metres without purlins or girts, eliminating much of a building's secondary structure and cutting structural steel and cladding cost by up to 30%. It also accommodates cantilever overhangs up to 5 metres and can be tapered or curved for striking geometry.
Per Fielders specifications: 150 mm nominal rib height, 800 mm standard cover width (variable 700–900 mm to suit geometry), pan width ~340 mm, minimum pitch 1°. ARAMAX® is rollformed to any transportable length, or on site for long continuous spans, and is non-combustible — making it suitable for bushfire-prone locations. Due to its size, ARAMAX® is installed by a Fielders-approved contractor; CSA coordinates supply, engineering input and delivery scheduling at quote stage.

Installation & Handling
- ARAMAX is a structural element: it carries load over long spans, removing much of the secondary steel from the building.
- Because of its unique size and shape, ARAMAX must be installed by a Fielders-approved contractor.
- For large-volume or long continuous spans, sheets are rollformed on site to avoid transport length limits.
Warranty
Made from BlueScope steel and backed by manufacturer warranties for eligible applications, subject to environment and correct installation.
Confirm and register warranty eligibility through BlueScope; this does not affect Australian Consumer Law rights.

High-tensile steel base
Cold-rolled from G550 steel (550 MPa minimum yield strength) with a metallic alloy coating, manufactured by BlueScope to the relevant Australian Standard.

COLORBOND prepainted steel finishes are manufactured to the Australian Standard for prepainted steel, incorporating Activate technology for corrosion resistance and (in core colours) Thermatech solar reflectance.

Steel made by BlueScope has an Ignitability, Spread-of-Flame and Heat-Evolved index of 0 (zero), so it may be used wherever a non-combustible material is required under the National Construction Code (NCC 2022 C2D10).

Steel roofing and walling can be specified from BAL-12.5 up to BAL-FZ (Flame Zone) using compliant system details under AS 3959 and the NASH Bushfire Standard, which the NCC references as a Deemed-to-Satisfy solution.

How far can ARAMAX span without support?
