Overview
Construction PU Joint Sealant is a moisture-curing polyurethane for movement joints in concrete, masonry, precast and metal. This sausage is Black. Typical uses are facade joints, precast panel joints, window perimeters and expansion joints where Class 25 movement is specified. The cured sealant is paintable with most architectural coatings once it has skinned. Joint design matters more than the brand on the sausage. Width, depth, backer rod and primer must match AS 4667 and the project specification. Do not use this line as a fire seal or a trafficable joint unless the accepted quote names a tested system for that use. Catalogue line. The supplier and the exact product on the invoice are confirmed when the quote is accepted.
